A woman with red, curly hair wears a black t-shirt with the image of a van and angel wings on it that says "McClyde." It is in honor of the first "fatality" on the 3DBotMaker YouTube channel, which produces highly entertaining die cast racing tournaments.

    The shirt: McClyde Angel Van

Where to find it: 3DBotMaker Merch

Why I love it: Like many folks, my husband and I discovered Jelle’s Marble Runs during the pandemic. The algorithm did its thing and recommended 3DBotMaker‘s die cast racing tournaments. The channel became an instant favorite for us. We aren’t toy car hobbyists, but the storylines that develop throughout each tournament, along with high production value, always keep us coming back for more. Plus, who doesn’t love a good FATALITY? We sure do!

A woman with red, curly hair poses with her hands on her hips. She is wearing a shirt that says "property of Sudbury Bulldogs," a reference to the TV shows Letterkenny, and its spinoff, Shoresy.

The shirt: Property of Sudbury Bulldogs

Where to find it: Letterkenny Official Store

Why I love it: How are ya, now? If you haven’t watched Letterkenny, or its spinoff, Shoresy, you just might be a degen from up north.

Side note: Forgive how GD tired I look. It was a busy day.

A woman with red curly hair gives a peace sign. She's wearing a shirt with the U.S.S. Voyager on it, and below it says "to the journey."

    The shirt: To the Journey

Where to find it: Garrett Wang’s merch table at conventions.

Why I love it: Star Trek: Voyager was the first show I followed from the moment it was announced to the last second of the series finale. To this day, I still love Voyager. It’s my Star Trek “Mac ’n Cheese,” when I want comfort food for my brain. This is the second “To The Journey” shirt I’ve bought from Garrett Wang, as I wore the first one out after several years’ wear. It might have something to do with a podcast I did for four years (2012-2016) with the same namesake as this shirt. 🙂

A woman with curly red hair points to her black shirt with her middle fingers that says "not safe for work."

The shirt: Not Safe for Work

    Where to find it: Qwertee

Why I love it: Are you new here? If so, have a look at my username on social media. 🤣 Est. 2009, it’s become part of my brand. And it’s true, I am not safe for most work environments. That’s why I work from my home office, where people don’t bother me unless I let them, and the only supervisors I answer to are my cats. Trust me, it’s better for all of us this way.

The shirt: Eat Sleep Meow Repeat

Where to find it: Crazy Dog T-shirts

Why I love it: My husband knows I am a sucker for funny and/or cute shirts with a cat on them, so he got me this one for a holiday gift last year. 🙂

Oh, and behind me is a work in progress the aforementioned husband and I started last weekend: A nerd wall!

    The shirt: Beckett Mariner

Where to find it: Titmouse Stuff

Why I love it: Titmouse, the animation studio that helped bring Star Trek: Lower Decks to life, did a cool thing throughout the show’s run: They released new t-shirts every week a new episode dropped. I have bought more than a few of these over the years, and Beckett Mariner is one of a couple I picked up from season five…perhaps with more to come? I’m obsessed!

A woman with red, curly hear wearing a grey t-shirt On it is a fanart drawing of Hologram Janeway from Star Trek: Prodigy entertaining herself, some cats, and a Bribble with a laser pointer.

The shirt: Herding Cats… and a tribble called Bribble

Where to find it: Amalgam000 at TeePublic

Why I love it: I don’t need to express how much I love Star Trek: Prodigy, right? You all know that. And if you love Prodigy fanart you can wear , check out Amalgam000’s store at TeePublic. Earnings go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation!

A woman with red, curly hear wearing a black t-shirt. On it is a concert poster for Wayne Stock, calling back to Wayne's World II.

    The shirt: Wayne Stock

Where to find it: CoDDesigns at TeePublic

Why I love it: Wayne’s World was easily one of my favorite SNL skits. I can recite the first half of the first movie from memory (yes, I’ve watched it that many times). The soundtrack was the first CD I bought. So…yeah, I’m a fan. I saw this shirt and had to have it.

    The shirt: Peace Love Soap

Where to find it: Ophelia’s Soapery

Why I love it: I love this shirt for two reasons: 1) My husband got it for me as a holiday gift, and 2) I love making soap! It’s a creative outlet that has nothing to do with a computer screen, which I need. I sell my Trek-inspired creations at Bold Bubbles.

    The shirt: Kill Your Human

Where to find it: Qwertee, but it is no longer available in their store.

Why I love it: Honestly, why haven’t they already taken over? They’re better than we are.
