The shirt: Smells Like Bunghole
Where to find it: ShirtPunch
Why I love it: I came of age in the ‘90s, so Beavis and Butt-Head and Nirvana were staples of my adolescence.

The shirt: The Bungholes
Where to find it: I’m not sure if I got my shirt from Ript Apparel (I bought this several years ago), but you can get your own there.
Why I love it: I’ve been a fan of Beavis and Butt-Head since that fateful day when I saw them on MTV at the ripe old age of 12 years old. Before you get concerned, I knew these buttmunches were an animated example of what not to do, just like the disclaimer says at the top of every show. You’ll see me wearing several Beavis and Butt-Head shirts on this t-shirt cataloguing journey, because whenever I see one I like, I buy it.
The shirt: Klingon Drinking Team
Where to find it: You can find a version of this design at StarTrek.com. I’ve had this shirt for so long I’m honestly not sure if that’s where I got it.
Why I love it: Raise a glass with honor if you are Irish!
Forgive the hastily-taken, meh photo. It’s been a busy day.
The shirt: Listener
Where to find it: Walking Art Made by Malissa
Why I love it: Happy Pi Day! I almost forgot that we are celebrating with a slice of pie on the Star Trek and Chill livestream I do most Fridays, but I’m set with a rhubarb slice. One of my fellow STAC co-hosts, Malissa Longo, designed the shirt I am wearing today. You can get her her designs on a shirt, a hoodie, a tote, and more!
The shirt: Have the Day You Deserve
Where to find it: Boredwalk
Why I love it: If you believe in karma, this shirt is for you. It’s for the assholes you come across who deserve a swift kick in the ass for how they treat people they see as “beneath” them (like there is such a thing). Conversely, on the other side of things, this shirt also goes out to the folks who emanate empathy and kindness toward others and DAMMIT THEY’RE TRYING no matter how shitty things are at any given moment. As the saying goes, “What goes around comes around.”
Side note: Big hair today! Finally got it cut.
The shirt: Writer’s Hat
Where to find it: Mission Log
Why I love it: I have been a Mission Log listener since day one. It has always held a place as the premiere Star Trek podcast out there since it’s under the banner of Roddenberry Entertainment. And, what can I say — I’m a big fan this network because now I get to work with John, Norm, and the fantastic folks who make Roddenberry Podcasts happen. I’m eternally grateful they tolerate me and can’t believe this is my life. 😀
The writer’s hat shirt was born out of the moments when John and Norm can’t help themselves and outline a better execution of the plot line than what actually aired. It’s inevitable when you dissect an episode of any show deep enough, not just Star Trek. Someone in the Mission Log Discord conjured the design for what the Mission Log writer’s hat actually looked like, and it was so good it became merch!
The shirt: “Please Think of the Carpet”
Where to find it: Liz Klockowski. She brought shirts to the Creation convention in 2024.
Why I love it: This is a deep cut reference to Art Director Liz Klockowski’s journey of rebuilding the Enterprise-D bridge for Star Trek: Picard. The crew sunk their hearts into this project, knowing they needed to nail down every detail flawlessly because fans would be scrutinizing their work like a specimen under a microscope. One of the most difficult things to match precisely was the color of the carpet. To preserve the set as much as possible, the art department made signs that said “Please think of the carpet.” This t-shirt is a replica of that sign.
I legit thought that line about carpet was about my carpet struggles…turns out, it wasn’t. 😂 pic.twitter.com/yAyGwxUztt

The shirt: Ban the Fascists, Save the Books
Where to find it: Boredwalk
Why I love it: My mom instilled a love for books in me from day one. When I was little, she would read as many Little Golden Books to me as she could before bedtime, and of course, I always asked for more no matter how many she read. I also had books where I could read along and listen to on cassette, and that’s how I learned to read.
The fascists know that avid readers have a greater capacity to think critically, and they hate that. Therefore, they ban the books. Cowards.
Every book is a learning opportunity. Read every single damn book you like.
The shirt: Prune Juice and Chill
Where to find it: Star Trek and Chill
Why I love it: Star Trek and Chill is a livestream I do most Fridays. I love getting together with the Chat Pack and joining my friends Ryan, Malissa, Jenny, Katie, as well as others, as we discuss Star Trek, what we’re drinking, and of course, food. Tune in at 5 pm every Friday and join the fun!
Aside from watching us, one of the ways you can support our goofy shenanigans is to buy a shirt like this one!
The shirt: Ivanova is Always Right
Where to find it: atomicblindie at Redbubble
Why I love it: Babylon 5 is my favorite science fiction show of all-time, and Ivanova is a favorite among its main characters. Repeat after me, everyone, the Babylon 5 Mantra:
Ivanova is always right
I will listen to Ivanova.
I will not ignore Ivanova’s recommendations.
Ivanova is god.
Side note: It’s a chilly, rainy day today, so I am drinking my favorite tea, which you can see behind me.
