A woman with red curly hair gives a peace sign. She's wearing a shirt with the U.S.S. Voyager on it, and below it says "to the journey."

    The shirt: To the Journey

Where to find it: Garrett Wang’s merch table at conventions.

Why I love it: Star Trek: Voyager was the first show I followed from the moment it was announced to the last second of the series finale. To this day, I still love Voyager. It’s my Star Trek “Mac ’n Cheese,” when I want comfort food for my brain. This is the second “To The Journey” shirt I’ve bought from Garrett Wang, as I wore the first one out after several years’ wear. It might have something to do with a podcast I did for four years (2012-2016) with the same namesake as this shirt. 🙂

    The shirt: Beckett Mariner

Where to find it: Titmouse Stuff

Why I love it: Titmouse, the animation studio that helped bring Star Trek: Lower Decks to life, did a cool thing throughout the show’s run: They released new t-shirts every week a new episode dropped. I have bought more than a few of these over the years, and Beckett Mariner is one of a couple I picked up from season five…perhaps with more to come? I’m obsessed!

A woman with red, curly hear wearing a grey t-shirt On it is a fanart drawing of Hologram Janeway from Star Trek: Prodigy entertaining herself, some cats, and a Bribble with a laser pointer.

The shirt: Herding Cats… and a tribble called Bribble

Where to find it: Amalgam000 at TeePublic

Why I love it: I don’t need to express how much I love Star Trek: Prodigy, right? You all know that. And if you love Prodigy fanart you can wear , check out Amalgam000’s store at TeePublic. Earnings go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation!

    The shirt: Strange New Mount

Where to find it: Studio JJ, but he doesn’t have this shirt available in his shop at the moment.

Why I love it: Since the new Strange New Worlds season three trailer dropped today, wearing this shirt was an easy choice. I don’t put too much stock into trailers since it’s only two minutes of what will ultimately be 9-10 hours of the whole season, but it looks like they’re taking some risks this season, getting weird, and I am HERE FOR IT.

    The shirt: Pocket Mini Murf

Where to find it: Amalgam000 on TeePublic

Why I love it: Chances are that if you follow me on social media, you know how much I love Star Trek: Prodigy. If not, check out Mission Log: Prodigy at Roddenberry Entertainment; I am a cohost of the show!

The shirt: Uhura Sisko Freeman Burnham

Where to find it: This was only available at Star Trek Las Vegas 2024, but the SyFy Sistas have lots of other cool merch in their shop! The Sistas also mentioned on Bluesky that they’ll have the shirt I am wearing at Trek Long Island May 30 – June 1 due to popular demand, so if you will be there, pick one up!

Why I love it: I love supporting the content creators I enjoy since I am a content creator myself, and naturally, I show my support by buying tees. My favorite SyFy Sistas content is their guest interviews. It’s obvious, even just through audio, that hosts and guests alike are having a good time during the show, which speaks volumes about the positive atmosphere they create. That, combined with thoughtful and engaging questions, make their interviews a fun listen. The Sistas also branch out beyond Trek, so if you are a sci-fi fan in general, give them a try if you haven’t already.

A redheaded lady with curly hair wearing a light blue shirt that says "trailblazer" along with a line drawing of Lieutenant Uhura from Star Trek.

    The shirt: Trailblazer

Where to find it: Walking Art Made By Malissa

Why I love it: Lieutenant Uhura was indeed a trailblazer. She held an important job on the bridge of one of Starfleet’s most prized ships flying through space in a future where, as a black woman, she was treated as an equal and respected by her peers. That was unheard of in 1960s television…until Star Trek opened the door and Uhura walked through. Nichelle Nichols, who portrayed Uhura, was just as much of a legend. She played a prominent role in recruiting women and minority candidates to NASA in the 1970s and ’80s.

Side note: Sorry, no photo of the tee I wore yesterday. I was tired, had a lot to do, and generally wasn’t up for it.

    The shirt: Bozeman Phoenixes

Where to find it: Star Trek and Chill

Why I love it: I adore the design of Zefram Cochrane’s warp ship, as seen in Star Trek: First Contact and thereafter. What really solidifies my love for the first warp flight, however, is the Lower Decks episode “Grounded,” where Mariner and the gang head to Bozeman, Montana and hijack the “Ride the Phoenix” attraction to board the Cerritos.

    The shirt: Klingon Drinking Team

Where to find it: You can find a version of this design at StarTrek.com. I’ve had this shirt for so long I’m honestly not sure if that’s where I got it.

Why I love it: Raise a glass with honor if you are Irish!

Forgive the hastily-taken, meh photo. It’s been a busy day.

    The shirt: Listener

Where to find it: Walking Art Made by Malissa

Why I love it: Happy Pi Day! I almost forgot that we are celebrating with a slice of pie on the Star Trek and Chill livestream I do most Fridays, but I’m set with a rhubarb slice. One of my fellow STAC co-hosts, Malissa Longo, designed the shirt I am wearing today. You can get her her designs on a shirt, a hoodie, a tote, and more!
